In this Gait analysis lab our job was to design an experiment to analyze the gait of different test subjects. My group consisted of Julia, Christian, and I. We first collected the data of me walking through the app Accelerometer. While retrieving our information from the app we recorded what leg i started walking with, my height, leg length, stride length, the amount of seconds i walked for, and how many steps i took. We analyzed the data we collected throughout the whole class by putting all of our gathered information into a huge class database. By looking at the different characteristics of each individual we were able to compare and interpret our data.

Reflection Throughout this lab there were many challenges my group and I faced. We had a hard time at first correctly and efficiently interpreting the data. We often got confused by the different data and what exactly we should do with it. A lot of the data we collected didn't seem to line up to make sense. Besides facing some confusion my group and I evenly spread out the work and all communicated and worked well together. This lab was good because it challenged us to think outside of what we are used to. At first we faced some trouble with google sheets but once we knew what to do we were fine. This lab definitely gave me a better understanding of what gait is and what it means.
