Project History: My group consisted of Anja Damazyn, Jack Tarleton, and Marslina McCahey. For the past 3 1/2 weeks we have been working on the Physics Of Sports video project. The first thing we did was brainstorm ideas of what our subject would be. We decided to do the physics of kicking a soccer ball. I have learned a lot throughout this project about how to make a good edited video. It didn't take us very long to record the different shots we needed but it did take us a long time to edit and voice record over videos/pictures. Our video also included videos of San Marin soccer players being interviewed and asked about their techniques and the frame by frame steps of how we solved for the velocity of the ball in the air when given a certain force. We used Jacks ipad to film this video and used the app imovie to edit it.
Force A force is a push or pull upon an object resulting from the object's interaction with another object. Whenever there is an interaction between two objects, there is a force upon each of the objects. When the interaction ceases, the two objects no longer experience the force. Forces only exist as a result of an interaction.

I learned a lot from this project. Me and my group collaborated and worked very well together which made things get done a lot quicker. Nobody in my group understood how to work iMovie very well but it was cool to be able to learn how over that period of time. The only problem we faced was not having enough video footage but we managed to fill the specified time. We have very good time management and finished with time to spare which was nice. I also learned many different facts about kicking a soccer ball that I wouldn't have otherwise.
